HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater is seeking a Provider Assistant/Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy clinic setting. Responsibilities include documenting histories, taking vitals, administering immunizations, and processing lab orders under physician or RN direction.
Qualified candidates should have an accredited Medical Assistant program, or an LPN with MN/WI license, or EMT training with current license.
As a provider assistant at HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.

PLUS current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
All candidates should have excellent verbal and written skills; excellent customer services skills; tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions with patients, families, and care team members; An ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions; Understanding of patient education needs, able to effectively share information with patient, family members and care team members as needed; Ability to learn, retain information regarding patient care procedures; Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks; Ability to remain calm in stressful situation; Experience with Epic preferred.
