Job summary

Centene Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Medical Economics to lead analytic service delivery for our 28 million members, aligning strategic objectives with tools and analytic teams to realize value across health plans and corporate partners.

You will partner with clinical, operational, and business leaders to identify opportunities, forecast performance, measure savings, develop KPIs, and report to executives, while mentoring leaders and analysts and guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and direct the planning and execution of enterprise-wide analytics projects and strategic initiatives, supporting the translation of business goals into actionable solutions, performance improvement opportunities, and value realization efforts.
• Provide senior leadership support and partnership to development efforts between business and technical partners, translating complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations and operational strategies.
• Interface with leadership to ensure effective communication and visibility of strategic intent to analytic teams.
• Prioritize team work and manage executive customer expectations and relationships.
• Maintain alignment of team goals and resource deployment with strategic objectives and the business needs of multiple health plans and corporate stakeholders.
• Serve as a primary domain contact as well as key point of escalation and accountability to ensure customer partnership and satisfaction.
• Lead the realization of analytics strategy as set by executive governance and internal leadership teams, supporting forecasting, savings validation, KPI development, and measurement of business outcomes.
• Guide and partner with leaders across analytic domains to ensure strong partnerships, align all business needs, leverage cross-functional skills, and co-develop valuable analytic solutions.
• Mentor, manage, and ensure the continuous development of a team of leaders and analysts.
