Job summary

• Understanding of the Opportunity Divide as the gap between companies seeking skilled talent and young adults lacking access to opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow fundraising portfolios with the goal of increasing cash contributions from local and national sources.
• Secure philanthropic support from major donors and meet cash, revenue, and meetings targets.
• Support major gifts strategy and donor cultivation in the Providence market.
• Develop proposals and engagement strategies with the Grant Writing Team and donors.
• Win back local public funding opportunities for Providence through various streams.
• Represent Year Up United with local, state, and federal leaders and workforce organizations.
• Originated business development opportunities expanding employer partnerships and future offerings.
• Position Year Up United as the workforce development partner of choice through executive engagement and thought leadership.
