Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own full prototype board development from concept to bring-up and testing.

You will collaborate with hardware, R&D and industrial design teams to rapidly build, test, and iterate high-fidelity prototypes and development platforms that embody design intent and user experience. Responsibilities include electrical debugging, lab rework, PCBA/FPC handling, and coordinating across NPI and research teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with prototypes and bench electrical assembly.
• Ability to read schematics and locate components on PCBs.
• Set up, support, and maintain hardware in a lab.
• Generate complete assembly/test documentation of prototype assembly/test setup and share results.

Responsibilities

• Support prototype builds including electrical and mechanical assembly and bring-up.
• Be the primary contact for hardware testing and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Debug with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Perform PCBA and FPC rework in lab environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across NPI and research.
• Execute multiple streams and prioritize to meet timelines.
• Demonstrate creativity, communication and problem solving.
• Be a team player and detail-oriented.
