Job summary

Regal Boats is seeking a detail-oriented Upholstery Prototype Specialist to develop and construct prototype boat upholstery, introduce it into production, and troubleshoot sewing/uptlstery issues. You will build jigs, fixtures, patterns, and mockups from design drawings, working closely with the design team to ensure accurate transfer of information.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility with daily hours.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment under time constraints.
• Accurate reading of tape measures.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in daily scheduled hours.
• Ability to take direction from various Supervisors and Managers and adapt to change quickly.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and Google Sheets.
• Conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build jigs/fixtures, patterns, templates, or other documentation related to upholstery and sewing processes.
• Build prototype upholstery assemblies and mockups based on design and engineering drawings.
• Work collaboratively with the design/documentation team to ensure accurate information transfer.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the upholstery prototype area.
