Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D/3D design.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.
• Support projects from concept through prototyping, testing, and production.
• Translate designs into manufacturing drawings, models, specs, and ERP routings.
• Review proposals to evaluate feasibility, cost, manufacturability, and lead times.
• Prepare technical information for quotes, pricing, and project proposals.
• Perform engineering calculations to meet specs and requirements.
• Participate in prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with Production to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, specs, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Engineering and Production.
