Job summary

Watteredge is seeking a dependable Production Worker to join our Avon Lake manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on operating production machinery, performing assembly and finishing, and following work instructions to deliver quality results.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities to learn in a hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training provided; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with production machinery and equipment.
• Perform assembly, fabrication, finishing, and other production tasks.
• Read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and production documentation.
• Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Handle and move materials throughout the production area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with team members, leads, and supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
