Job summary

The Smith & Wesson facility in the United States is seeking a Technician Level I to support prototype manufacturing and testing of firearms. You will be heavily involved in shooting activities, cleaning ranges, and assisting engineers and the technician team with testing tasks.

Requirements include an associate degree or technical certificate (or 2 years of equivalent experience) and proficiency in English, with preferred background in technical writing, instrumentation, sensors, and machinist

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an associate degree, technical school certificate or 2 years minimum equivalent experience.
• Background in technical writing preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation and sensors preferred.
• Machinist/Toolmaker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technician Level I: Responsible for shooting, cleaning ranges, assisting engineers and technician team in shooting activities.
• Support prototype manufacturing and testing activities.
• Maintain safety and PPE on the manufacturing floor.
