Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT is seeking a Proto Engineer to join the Foundation Proto Operations team. You will test and integrate prototype modules, maintain test rigs, and contribute to design improvements through systematic troubleshooting and documentation.

The role requires hands-on work on 2nd shift with weekend support and a 10% differential, onsite presence, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. Prior experience with test rigs is beneficial.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Software, Electrical or Mechatronics with 2+ years of experience; MS with 1+ year; or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Able to work unsupervised with high ownership.
• Troubleshooting experience with complex systems.
• Basic knowledge of how subsystems interact with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate D&E test rigs for new product qualification, integration and issue resolution.
• Review and contribute to test plans to ensure efficient use of the test rig.
• Ensure tests are executed by following test plans and procedures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and report issues in the module design to improve performance.
• Assist integration, build in/build out, and troubleshoot activities on test rigs.
• Provide technical support to other D&E engineers as a generalist.
• Monitor test rig performance within set parameters.
• Keep test rig hardware and software configurations up to date.
