Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a Proto Engineer to join the Foundation Proto Operations team. You will test and integrate prototype modules, optimize test rigs, and contribute to an integral test‑rig roadmap for Wilton D&E.

You will mentor peers, lead testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and help design improvements for top module and system operations, while ensuring uptime and safety on the lab floor. This 2nd shift role offers a 10% differential and is on-site at ASML.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field with 5+ years of experience.
• MS preferred in relevant field.
• Or MS degree with 3+ years experience or 9+ years total engineering experience.
• On-site, second shift with 2pm–10:30pm hours.
• Ability to work unsupervised with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate D&E test rigs for new product qualification and issue resolution.
• Review and contribute to test plans for efficient test rig use.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report issues to improve system performance.
• Lead integration, build in/build out, and troubleshoot activities on test rigs.
• Mentor peers and provide technical support across D&E engineers.
