Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years in aircraft seat assembly or related work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proven track record of leading a team through development of complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and BOMs.
• Lean Methodology experience.
• Experience with cross-functional meetings and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise prototype builds and developmental/test seats.
• Coordinate across Platform Engineering, Testing, Program Management, Quality, Logistics, Planning and Purchasing for schedules.
• Elevate issues to management and drive root-cause analysis.
• Motivate and lead the team to meet company goals.
• Train technicians on equipment usage and procedures in Prototyping and Test Seat Build.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workplace; perform housekeeping audits; support 5S.
