Job summary

Versa Designed Surfaces in New Albany, IN is seeking a Screen Print/Prototype Assistant to support color matching inks and printing prototype samples using gravure and silk screen techniques. The role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborates with the design team.

Requires at least 1 year in a creative or printing environment; a degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design, or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on experience in a printing or creative environment.
• Familiarity with gravure or silk screen printing.
• Degree preferred in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Print prototype samples using silk screens or gravure rollers.
• Formulate and match inks to achieve target color and finish.
• Inspect proofs and adjust color/print quality based on feedback.
• Create/update project folders with samples, swatches and targets.
• Maintain organization of silkscreens, samples and materials.
