Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Project Technician to prep and prioritize customer files for MultiJet Fusion machines, oversee quick-turn prototypes and longer production runs, and drive the project from setup through final QA.

Candidates should have strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must navigate comfortably on computer.
• Must have a good eye for details.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excels at time management and multitasking.
• Must have solid organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• 2-3 years Microsoft Office experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and/or other CAD software
• High school diploma minimum.

Responsibilities

• Process and review customer files prior to production
• Prepare build platforms to maximize production efficiency
• Daily prioritization of jobs flowing through department to meet scheduling requirements
• Communicate Job Sheet Details to Printer Operators
• Communicate part details with Quality Dept.
• Assist in the operation of AM Lab Printers
• Assist in various stages of production as needed
• Complete additional tasks upon manager’s request
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Promote a positive work environment
