Job summary

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or quality control experience.
• Mechanically inclined with hand tools experience.
• Self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Safety-focused in all tasks and processes.
• Experience with analyzing situations and making quick decisions.
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained/certified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to safety in every aspect of work.
• Identifies and corrects hazards and ensures rigorous compliance with safety procedures.
• Practices good housekeeping and participates in site safety initiatives.
• Collaborates with engineers, scientists, and team members to operate the shingle pilot line and deliver project goals.
• Prepares equipment and materials; can lift up to 30 lbs.
• Troubleshoots equipment or process issues to minimize downtime.
• Assists with assembly and modification of process and equipment prototypes.
• Runs prototype testing and evaluation with engineers; conducts routine and non-routine shingle testing.
• Documents observations and test results in LIMs; maintains thorough records.
• Cleans and maintains equipment for ongoing testing.
• Performs hazard assessments for non-routine tasks.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
