Qualifications

• Strong background in 3D design and drafting.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD/design software.
• Experience supporting mechanical design, detailing, equipment layout, or related technical project work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with limited day-to-day direction.
• Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn new lab tools and metrology technologies.
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team-based, matrixed project environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support 3D scan metrology lab by collecting data and analyzing results.
• Create and revise mechanical designs and drawings using CAD tools.
• Contribute to project work with design, drafting and documentation support.
• Prepare technical documentation including drawing packages and SOPs.
• Support equipment-related project activity with engineers and vendors.
