Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a skilled technician to perform machining, fitting and assembly to build prototype dies, molds and tooling. You will set up lathes, mills, drills, grinders and EDM equipment to prove concepts and produce samples while adhering to safety standards.

• 4+ years in metalworking with sketches and drawings
• Proficient in CNC Milling, surface grinder, vertical mill, lathe
• Experience interpreting engineers’ sketches and prints

Responsibilities

• Perform machining, fitting and assembly to build prototype dies, molds and tools
• Set up and operate shop equipment (lathe, milling, drill press, surface grinder, plunge EDM)
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed; communicate effectively with team and engineers
