Job summary

TE Connectivity plc is seeking a Manufacturing Set-Up Technician to perform set-up, operation, maintenance and repair of high precision automated and semi-automated assembly equipment. You will support production goals, perform dimensional inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality assemblies.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of related experience, and be capable of reading blueprints and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Min 2 years related experience in manufacturing/assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints/manuals/procedures.
• Experience with mechanical inspection and geometric tolerancing is a plus.
• Experience with precision machining and basic tool-making is a plus.
• Experience with electronics and equipment troubleshooting is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, maintain and repair various types of high precision automated and semi-automated assembly equipment and related tooling & fixtures.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor to establish production goals and requirements.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated assembly equipment to support close-tolerance production.
• Perform dimensional inspections of subassemblies to verify quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
