Job summary

Dynomax, Inc is seeking a Prototype Machinist to join our R&D team. You will perform vertical milling, CNC programming, and precision grinding to build small quantity parts for innovation.

Qualifications

• Vertical milling experience.
• Surface grinder/manual lathe/CNC programming experience a plus.
• Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics.
• Complex blueprint interpretations.
• Advanced fixture design.
• Heidenhain machine control experience a plus.
• Able to program or edit G-code a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and verbal instructions to identify features and production methods.
• Milling, programming, indicating, measurement, and tool selection.
• Manual machining, CNC machining, manual lathe, and surface grinder.
• Select and utilize methods, machines, and processes for small quantity manufacturing for R&D.
• Respond in real time to parts that may change or require fitting on the fly.
