Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair and fuel systems is needed.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are expected.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Willingness to learn high-voltage vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace automotive fuel system components and assemblies.
• Perform light fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly work.
• Build, repair, and modify wire harnesses and electrical connectors.
• Operate and support department test stands for component evaluation and validation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on product development.
• Complete required administrative tasks including program tracking and labor reporting.
• Support coworkers and department initiatives as needed.
• Maintain and develop technical skill sets for evolving requirements.
