Job summary

AWE in Horsham, PA is seeking an R&D Fabrication Specialist I to support engineering and product development through hands-on prototype production, welding, and meticulous documentation. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will fabricate fixtures, weld as needed, and maintain equipment TPM while representing the brand professionally.

The role requires 1–3 years of metal fabrication and automotive technician experience, plus the ability to read drawings and follow build books.

Qualifications

• Hands-on metal fabrication experience with MIG/TIG welding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and build books.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Proficient in documenting design development.
• Experience with prototype production and TPM reviews.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate fixtures and prototype components.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding as required.
• Photograph and document development.
• Maintain TPM reviews for equipment.
• Operate shop equipment safely.
• Attend events and represent the company.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
