Jobot is seeking a Fabrication & Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing team in Pennsylvania. This hands-on role involves fabricating, assembling, repairing, and maintaining specialized steelmaking equipment and tooling for high-temperature industrial applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, metal fabrication, or related field.
• Strong welding experience, including stainless steel fabrication and pipe welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience operating industrial equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and thermal cutting tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and test specialized industrial tools and equipment according to engineering drawings and welding specifications.
• Perform precision welding on stainless steel and high-temperature-resistant materials.
• Ensure all products meet quality and performance standards before release.
• Operate machining equipment to shape and modify metal components.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, defects, leaks, and overall quality.
• Utilize pressure testing and visual inspections to verify equipment integrity.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on specialized tooling and equipment.
• Replace worn or damaged components to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and production records.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
