Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist to build and assemble manufacturing aids, fixtures, and tooling.

You will operate manual milling machines, small presses, saws, drill presses, and grinders, fabricating components by drilling, tapping, boring, milling, bending, and fitting. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and refine designs or prototypes, ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, or prototype manufacturing.
• Strong skills in manual machining, especially on mills such as Bridgeport.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, sketches, and CAD prints.
• Capable of measuring, layout, drill, tap, and assemble mechanical components.
• Experience building fixtures, jigs, tooling, or prototypes is preferable.
• CNC experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
