Job summary

Jurman Metrics Inc. is a small job shop seeking a well-established, permanent employee with extensive machining experience. The ideal candidate will handle single piece jobs, small run prototypes, and secondary operations with proficiency in turning, milling, and reading blueprints.

Familiarity with aluminum, 300 series stainless, and plastics is desirable. Salary is negotiable and will depend on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in machining or related field.
• Capable of single piece jobs, small run prototype and secondary operation production.
• Experience in turning, milling, blueprint comprehension and inspection equipment is essential.
• Familiarity with aluminum, 300 series stainless and plastic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform single piece and small run production jobs.
• Operate turning and milling equipment to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and inspect parts with appropriate equipment.
