Job summary

Metatooltechnologies is seeking a fabrication technician to operate fabrication equipment and set up prototype builds in the prototype facility. You will fabricate prototypes, produce parts, and ensure quality while meeting production schedules.

The role requires hands-on experience with laser, welder, press brake, mill, and related tooling, along with attention to safety and documentation. Michigan location in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Hi-Lo certification or ability to gain certification.
• Experience with all shop equipment including laser, welder, press, press brake and mill.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment (Laser, Welder, Press Brake).
• Fabricate prototypes and production parts.
• Meet production schedules and document finishing parts.
• Set up prototype builds and fixture adjustments on 3-axis/5-axis machines.
