Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication in prototyping or production.
• Proficiency in TIG welding for aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, structural assembly, and mechanical integration.
• Working knowledge of Flow Waterjet operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise fabrication instructions.
• Familiarity with manual machining and general metalworking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate vehicle components, structural assemblies, and fixtures using TIG welding and sheet metal techniques.
• Perform high-quality welds on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel for prototype and production.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to execute builds with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers to provide DFMA feedback during prototypes.
• Conduct structural and fluid system assembly and routing of tubes and hardware.
• Support dimensional checks and prep for NDT when required.
• Apply lean practices and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain and operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders as needed.
• Ensure shop cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.
