Job summary

SeeScan LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support building prototypes, perform circuit testing and troubleshooting, and assist engineers in research and development. This onsite role is based in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on electrical/electronics technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuitry and schematic reading.
• Experience with standard test equipment and soldering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and test electronic circuits and subassemblies.
• Support engineers in developing and debugging prototype hardware.
• Operate test equipment to verify design performance.
• Diagnose and repair analog and digital circuits.
• Identify root causes of test failures and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain test records, build notes, and revision documentation.
• Update wiring diagrams and parts lists with design team.
• Assist with transitioning prototypes to production-ready assemblies.
• Contribute to engineering documentation and quality control.
