Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team in Dallas. You will support engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include testing circuits, collecting design data, trouble-shooting, and performing fault isolation on systems and equipment; you will work from schematics and plans to ensure procedures meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering testing and trial setups.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with prototype fabrication and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.
• Conduct testing and experimental validation to collect design data.
• Perform fault isolation and troubleshooting on systems and equipment.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, plans and written/verbal descriptions to execute tests.
