Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. This role involves designing and checkout of burn-in PCB boards on HTOL ovens and testing ICs on multiple tester platforms for qualification and customer samples.

Responsibilities include supporting engineering activities, fabrication and assembly of prototype burn-in boards per TI specs, testing various analog, circuit and packaging applications, and performing fault isolation and detailed experimental testing to gather

Responsibilities

• This role is for engineering tech who will design and checkout burnin PCB boards on HTOL ovens.
• Work will also involve testing IC on different tester platforms for qualification and customer samples.
• Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype burnin boards per TI Spec
• Applications may include analog, circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
• Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
• Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
• Create purchase requests / orders to support customer and business team needs.
