Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. You will support engineering activities by testing, validating, modifying, fabricating and assembling prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment.

Responsibilities include working with analog, digital and/or video circuits, logic systems, and packaging, using schematics and plans to perform testing and troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read schematics, diagrams, and written descriptions.
• Experience with testing and fault isolation of electro-mechanical systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment
• Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
• Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
• Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
