Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a Prototype Technician – Electrical to support build, modification, testing, and evaluation of prototype vehicles and systems.

You will assemble wiring harnesses, diagnose electrical issues, and assist with vehicle development in a fast-paced lab environment. Must read blueprints and schematics; 1–3 years automotive experience; hands-on with electrical tools and instrumentation; ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related technical or automotive experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience using common electrical assembly and diagnostic tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support prototype vehicle builds, rebuilds, and component modification projects.
• Assemble prototype vehicles and components from drawings and layouts.
• Build, modify, and maintain prototype vehicles.
• Fabricate parts from engineering drawings as required.
• Modify vehicle components using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Build wiring harnesses from prints and electrical schematics.
• Perform bench-top and in-vehicle diagnostics of wiring harnesses and electrical systems.
• Assist with instrumentation installation and vehicle testing.
