Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Bartlett, TN seeks an Experienced Machinist with prototype experience to create precision medical device components. You will work from complex engineering drawings, set up CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines, and develop CNC programs using Mastercam to hit tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with micrometers, calipers, and CMMs; troubleshooting machining issues; and collaborating with engineers to ensure manufacturability and design

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in machining or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience focusing on prototypes.
• Skilled in interpreting complex engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficient in setting up and operating CNC/manual machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes and manual machines for prototypes.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and models for prototype parts.
• Develop CNC programs with Mastercam to achieve tolerances.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and CMMs for conformance.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement improvements for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability and feasibility.
• Maintain organized work area and document processes for future runs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in medical manufacturing.
