Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining preferred.
• Experience as a Machinist in a production setting, especially with Swiss type lathes, mills, mill-turn equipment, centerless grinders, or multi-axis grinders.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of machining principles, including tool selection, speeds and feeds.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
• Dedication to workplace safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate machining equipment including Swiss type lathes, mills, mill-turn systems, centerless grinders, or multi-axis grinders.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise part production.
• Select and install tooling, work holding, and fixtures for each job.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot for optimal performance.
• Monitor operations, adjust as needed, and inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Document work performed and maintain production records.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines in the manufacturing environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
