Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI seeks a Machinist Fabricator to produce prototype parts with CNC mill/lathe, water jet, and 5-axis capabilities. You will weld with MIG/TIG, interpret complex drawings, and work from CAD models to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Eight years minimum experience as a prototype machinist or fabricator
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 20 verifiable credits in related trade school training
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM and G-code creation
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, water jet, and press brake
• Experience welding MIG/TIG on steel and aluminum
• Strong problem solving and math skills
• Ability to work from verbal instructions and CAD models

Responsibilities

• Machine prototype parts to tight tolerances from drawings and 3-D models
• MIG/TIG weld steel and aluminum assemblies to spec
• Program and operate HP 3-D Fusion Printer and rapid prototyping equipment
