Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our engineering team onsite in Philadelphia, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level technician or someone with 1-3 years of experience who enjoys designing, building, and solving mechanical problems. The successful candidate will support engineers in the design and fabrication of custom tooling and molds, combining CAD design and hands-on fabrication.

Qualifications

• Entry level to three years of experience in mechanical engineering or engineering support.
• Experience in creating 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and additive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Design and build custom molds using additive manufacturing.
• Operate and troubleshoot 3D printers.
• Assist engineers with prototype development and testing.
• Maintain engineering documentation and support laboratory setup.
