Job summary

JAMCO AMERICA, INC. seeks a hands-on R&D Prototype Build Specialist Journeyman in Everett, WA to assemble R&D products, create prototypes, and support design through production.

You will read 2D drawings and 3D MBD, operate a variety of tools, and work with engineers to solve issues and ensure quality. The role requires broad shop experience, problem solving, and collaboration across a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Requires basic job-related courses or training in a non-technical or vocational field.
• May require driving a company vehicle with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Moderate travel within the U.S. and abroad may be required to support JAMCO America programs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/build R&D products including concept mockups and functional prototypes.
• Perform a variety of production assembly operations of moderate complexity.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D MBD; follow work orders and instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop area and optimize workflow.
• Track build status and coordinate with engineers to meet design and delivery dates.
