Employee Workplace in Livonia, MI is seeking a Prototype Build Lead to coordinate prototype axle system builds and testing activities. This onsite role focuses on planning, scheduling, parts coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineers and suppliers.

The candidate will manage timelines, track testing and forecasts, and drive issues to closure while engaging stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Previous project management experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead prototype build events for axle system development projects.
• Create and manage project plans, build schedules, and timing charts.
• Coordinate parts ordering and component delivery.
• Partner with engineers, suppliers, and shop personnel to support build completion.
• Track testing schedules, priorities, and completion status.
• Resolve project issues and drive action items to closure.
• Maintain short- and long-term testing forecasts.
• Coordinate post-test teardown reviews and engineering approvals.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Salary: $44.13/Hour

Ready to lead cutting-edge prototype build and testing projects? We're seeking a highly organized Prototype Build Lead to coordinate prototype axle system builds, testing activities, and engineering project timelines for a leading automotive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead prototype build events for axle system development projects
• Create and manage project plans, build schedules, and timing charts
• Coordinate parts ordering and component delivery
• Partner with engineers, suppliers, and shop personnel to support build completion
• Track testing schedules, priorities, and completion status
