Job summary

EIT Electronic Instrumentation & Technology in Salem, NH is seeking an experienced assembler to join our engineering prototyping and small-run production team. You will assemble and solder SMT, Thru-Hole, and electromechanical assemblies for prototypes and pilot runs.

The role requires hand soldering skill, the ability to read drawings and work instructions, and adherence to ISO processes, with collaboration across engineering and production to resolve start-up issues and ensure quality.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• SMT, Thru-Hole and electromechanical assembly and soldering using engineering and/or preproduction

documentation.

• Working through product start up issues with engineering and customers.
• Supporting rework and inspection of production products on an as needed basis.

Experience Requirement

Five years of experience in Electronic Manufacturing environment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Hand soldering of SMT and Thru-Hole components. Extensive rework skills in SMT and Thru-Hole technology. Identification of electronic components. Must be able to interpret drawings and work instructions. Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes.
