The ideal candidate will program and adjust tools, inspect parts with precision instruments, and maintain production records while adhering to safety policies and schedules. This full-time role requires reliable attendance and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ProtoTRAK lathes or similar conversational CNC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling selection, and material characteristics.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate ProtoTRAK lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Select tooling, work holding, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other instruments.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to meet specifications.
• Maintain production records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
