Job summary

PTR Tool and Plastics, LLC in Wheatland, PA, seeks a CNC Operator to oversee department production and operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe equipment. The role includes setup/teardown, gauging, QA checks, and maintenance to keep parts within spec and material ready for machining.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of CNC mill/lathe experience, familiarity with Mazak machines, GD&T, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ CNC Mill and Lathe experience.
• Proficient with gauging and precision measurement.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Capable of data entry and producing production reports.
• Excellent communication across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts within the department.
• Perform daily, periodic, and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Set-up and tear-down of machines, including inserts and tooling changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Record data for production and QA checks.
• Work under the supervision of the Machine Shop Supervisor.
