Job summary

Southwest Florida Proton in Fort Myers is seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality proton radiation therapy using the IBA ProteusONE® system. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary cancer care team.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Radiation Therapy, ARRT certification, and experience in proton therapy is preferred. The position offers competitive compensation along with health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy with compliance.
• Active Florida Radiation Therapy license in good standing.
• Two years of experience preferred, but new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Administer proton radiation therapy treatments.
• Accurately position patients and operate therapy systems.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to changes.

Skills

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Understanding of radiation therapy principles

Functional computer literacy

Education

Associate’s degree or higher in Radiation Therapy

Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy

Active State of Florida Radiation Therapy license

Current BLS/CPR certification
