Job summary

Baptist Health's Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton is seeking a Dosimetrist for Proton Therapy. Under the supervision of Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists, you will initiate and oversee external beam proton planning and assist with brachytherapy planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a physical science or RTT and CMD certification (board-eligible acceptable), with CPMD dosimetry training. 0–1 year experience preferred; full-time, daytime hours.

Qualifications

• CMD certification to be obtained within 12 months for recent graduates.
• Bachelors degree in a physical science or RTT and graduation from a JRCERT dosimetry program.
• CMD certification required or board-eligible.
• RTT program from an accredited radiation therapy technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and oversee the external beam proton treatment planning process.
• Assist with special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning.
• Provide training to dosimetrists, physicists and radiation oncologists as the program develops.
• Support safety and compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and ethical standards.
