Eursdale Companies is seeking an experienced Protocol Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute official visits, distinguished visitor activities, tours, ceremonies, and meetings for USCG CG-AIR. Qualifications

  • At least two years of protocol and event-planning experience.
  • Experience applying protocol and etiquette in planning events, ceremonies, receptions, and official functions.
  • Experience supporting dignitaries, senior military or civilian representatives, Government officials, or other high-ranking personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and event-management capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate base-wide tours and distinguished visitor activities.
  • Develop itineraries and coordinate visitor transportation.
  • Conduct orientation tours for newly hired employees and other designated visitors.
  • Lead specialized tours for Government representatives, schools, civic organizations, and other groups.
  • Greet arriving aircraft and distinguished visitors.
  • Escort guests throughout the installation.
  • Coordinate and manage visitor itineraries.
  • Set up and operate audiovisual equipment for meetings and briefings.
  • Maintain and update command briefing materials and metric boards.
  • Maintain the Command Brief/ALC101.
  • Attend meetings, record minutes, and publish meeting documentation.
  • Plan ceremonies including retirements, promotions, awards, and other official functions.
  • Prepare or coordinate invitations, scripts, programs, speeches, and related event materials.
  • Provide protocol guidance for official events.
  • Support Wardroom social functions.
  • Coordinate applicable recognition programs with Public Affairs and local media.
  • Assist the Commanding Officer's Secretary and provide other authorized command administrative support.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Protocol Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute official visits, distinguished visitor activities, tours, ceremonies, command events, meetings, and social functions for USCG CG-AIR. This highly visible position interacts with senior military leaders, Government officials, Congressional staff, dignitaries, civic organizations, and other distinguished visitors.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, event-planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills and have experience applying military or Government protocol and etiquette.
