Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Protestant Pianist to provide piano support for the Protestant Fellowship Chapel aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The role includes weekly worship, Festival Days, and special services per the PWS.

Responsibilities include ongoing accompaniment for Sunday services at 9:00 AM, coordination with the Chaplain for music selections, and rehearsal in preparation for events such as National Day of Prayer and 9/11 Remembrance.

Qualifications

• Experience playing piano or keyboard; worship leading experience preferred.
• Able to read music from liturgical resources and hymnals.
• Demonstrate competence through an audition with Chaplaincy leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano support for Sunday worship and Festival Days.
• Perform and conduct weekly Protestant Worship at 9:00 AM.
• Coordinate with Chaplains for service music selections and rehearsals.
• Arrange self-rehearsal of at least 1 hour per week and attend scheduled rehearsals.
• Provide accompaniment for command-sponsored services and associated rehearsals (e.g., 9/11 Remembrance, National Day of Prayer).
• Notify Chaplain if piano malfunction occurs and arrange substitute when unavailable.
