Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a Protestant Pianist to provide piano support for the Protestant Fellowship Chapel at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The role includes weekly worship services, Festival Days, and command-sponsored events, with rehearsals and coordination with Chaplains.

The candidate must read music for liturgical resources, audition successfully, and obtain a contractor badge within five working days of award. This is a part-time contract on-site at the Cherry Point Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience playing piano or keyboard; performance experience preferred.
• Ability to read music from liturgical sources and Armed Forces Hymnal.
• Must demonstrate competence via audition with Command Chaplain.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano accompaniment and musical support for worship services and rehearsals.
• Perform weekly Protestant Worship every Sunday at 9:00 AM and during Festival Days.
• Coordinate with Chaplains for service music selection and meetings.
• Provide a qualified substitute when unavailable and notify the Chaplain 7 days in advance.
• Remain professionally current through study, training, conferences, and seminars at contractor's expense.
