Job summary

Music Ministry International in North Carolina seeks a part-time Liturgical Pianist serving MCAS Cherry Point's Memorial Chapel on a 1099 contract. Qualifications

• Ability to read music from the Armed Forces Hymnal.
• Complete audition and oral interview with the Command Chaplain.

Responsibilities

• Provide piano support every Sunday at the 0900 Liturgical Traditional Service.
• Consult with the Protestant chaplain on selection and performance of service music.
• Provide piano support for memorial services, rehearsals and other special services as directed.
• Provide a qualified substitute in case of unavailability and notify contract officer at least one week in advance.
• Appraise malfunctioning instruments and arrange for required service.
• Remain professionally current through personal study, training, conferences, workshops and seminars.
