Inotiv in Nashville is seeking an early‑career Scientist I, Proteomics to conduct targeted and global proteomic bioanalytical studies supporting drug discovery and translational research. You will perform sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, and data processing under supervision, contributing to the development of proteomic assays.

The role involves multiple cross-functional collaborations, staying current with literature, and adhering to GLP/SOP requirements while growing technical expertise

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, with hands-on mass spectrometry proteomics experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant industry experience (CRO, biotech, pharma) or postdoc.
• Hands-on experience with targeted and/or global proteomic workflows and operation of high-resolution LC-MS/MS systems.

Responsabilités

• Contributes proteomics expertise to cross-functional DTS teams including biomarker discovery and translational research.
• Supports evaluation and implementation of new MS-based technologies and workflows.
• Communicates results to Study Directors and Sponsors and contributes to posters, publications, and presentations.
• Performs method development and validation and sample-preparation workflows; maintains LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
• Builds knowledge of Inotiv's capabilities at the Nashville site and performs data QC and report preparation.
• Shares technical knowledge and may train team members; adheres to GLP and SOPs.
