Zenith LifeScience LLC is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Chemical Biology and Proteomics group within Discovery Sciences. You will apply proteomics to advance drug discovery and interrogate mechanisms of action in CVRM contexts.

You will design mass-spectrometry–based discovery assays, perform proximity biotinylation, and validate protein interactions with PLA and cell-based assays while maintaining rigorous notebooks and collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• PhD with at least 2 years hands-on proteomics experience, or Masters with 3–5 years proteomics experience.
• Experience with proteomic sample preparation.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute discovery proteomic assays using mass spectrometry.
• Perform proximity biotinylation studies in cells with automated affinity purification and DIA MS methods.
• Develop proximity ligation assays and cell-based assays to assess protein interactions.
• Generate protein conjugates and characterize labeling by UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Analyze and interpret data using established bioinformatic pipelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic lab notebooks.
• Represent CBP team and communicate with project discipline leads to generate mechanistic hypotheses from proteomics data.
