Job summary

Georgia Institute of Technology’s Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB) Core Facilities seeks a detail‑oriented technician to support daily operations in the Systems Mass Spectrometry – Proteomics Core Facility. You will assist with sample prep, LC-MS/MS calibration, data acquisition, and instrument upkeep, contributing to high‑quality proteomic services for internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of related experience.
• Familiarity with LC-MS/MS systems and basic proteomics software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain LC-MS/MS instruments and related equipment.
• Order supplies and maintain records.
• Prepare laboratory media/equipment for demonstrations.
• May clean instruments, glassware and other lab equipment.
• Prepare and process laboratory samples for tests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
