Job summary

TCG Labs-Soleil is seeking a protein production expert to drive recombinant protein and antibody production across expression and purification platforms. You will design, execute, and optimize workflows for transient HEK293 and CHO systems, delivering material from IgGs to multispecifics.

You will collaborate with expression, purification, and biology teams to interpret data, advance automation, and support our pipeline of protein therapeutics.

Qualifications

• BS with 10+ years, MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 0–2 years in Cell/Molecular Biology or related field.
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture and sterile technique across multiple cell lines.
• Experience with transient expression in HEK293 and CHO suspension systems.
• Experience producing/purifying IgG formats; multispecifics advantageous.
• Experience with high-throughput protein production workflows.
• Familiar with Octet/BLI and orthogonal analytics for product quality and titer.
• Molecular biology skills supporting expression (plasmid prep, PCR, cloning).
• Benchling ELN and inventory management.
• Ability to independently design experiments, interpret data, and drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, troubleshoot mammalian expression and purification experiments.
• Develop production strategies across platforms and scales.
• Lead transient expression from high-throughput to 1–5 L scales for diverse biologics.
• Maintain multiple mammalian cell lines under aseptic conditions.
• Collaborate with biology teams to interpret data and drive programs.
