Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology; 2–5 years of relevant research experience.
• Hands‑on microbiology operations: media prep, aseptic technique, GLP.
• Strong molecular cloning skills: PCR, gel electrophoresis, Golden Gate, Gibson.
• Protein analysis: SDS‑PAGE, Western blot; independent experimentation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation; troubleshoot issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Microbiology & Laboratory Operations: media prep, agar plates, aseptic technique; maintain GLP and safety culture.
• Molecular Cloning & DNA Assembly: design/perform PCR, cloning, genotyping, Golden Gate, Gibson.
• Protein Expression, Purification & Analysis: express constructs, assess purity/ integrity via SDS-PAGE/Western.
• High-Throughput Screening: support workflows, optimize conditions for reproducibility/throughput.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation: work with Protein Sciences and partners; keep organized records.
